The CEFR Eastern Region Working Group is a consortium of 13 boards located in the eastern part of Ontario, Canada, funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education. The objectives of this working group are to provide professional development and networking opportunities for FSL educators and leaders based on the guiding principles of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), and to support learner proficiency, confidence, and achievement. In addition, this working group provides support related to the implementation of the Diplôme d'études en langue française (DELF).
